75th Anniversary The troop celebrated its 75th Anniversary in the summer of 2007.
We have been an active Boy Scout Troop associated with the Buddhist Church of San Francisco for this entire time. We are very proud of our roots in the San Francisco Japan Town Community.
Camp Royaneh The troop spends one week at Camp Royaneh, near the Russian River, every summer. Every year we have many scouts who attend where they earn merit badges, gaining leadership experience, and making friends and memories. Every summer we spend a week at camp.
15th Nippon Jamboree Our troop is participating in the 15th Nippon Jamboree in Asagiri Kogen, Japan. This site is very near to Mt. Fuji so the boys will get a fun and educational experience in Japan. This event is one of our Troop's most significant social and cultural enrichment activities.
Membership Drive Everyone in the troop is trying to assist in building the troop membership. We are working with Cub Scout Pack 29 to share opportunities and candidates.
Camping Trips We usually take at least 3 camping trips each year, in addition to the week at Camp Royaneh in July. Two are for the scouts and one is held jointly with Cub Scout Pack 29.
Eagle Scouts We have had many scouts succeed at achieveing the rank of Eagle Scout over the past several years. We are very proud of all of our Eagle Scouts and their families for their hard work and dedication.
